Shalom {Peace be upon you and your families}
I wanted
to share some thoughts with you today as I study and pray and grow, I want to
document some of these things in hopes that it would help you do the same.
As we do
these things we should be changing from the inside out. We should be learning
more and more about Who YHVH is and what he wants for us and from us. However,
simply put, words do seem sometime easier then our actions.
On
Friday May 2nd I got up and went into prayer before I left for work.
This is something I do every morning. However, this morning, my prayer was a bit
different than those of norm. In part of my prayer I asked YHVH to help me live
holy and sanctified unto Him through His power and Love through Yeshua Ha-Mashiach
(Jesus Christ). To help me and teach me, to do this, in the day he has made and
allowed me to be in it.
So How
do you think my day turned out? I walked on water, had many divine revelations,
and turned many to Living a perfect life through Jesus Christ and was able
tele-port myself home instantly at the End of the day!!!!
Yeah,
right! My day was as hard and Hectic and more then my normal average day. I was
challenged over and over, my patients were worn thin and the day was long. I
was under appreciated, yelled at for doing my job and being in the way.
So here
is a small excerpt from yesterday:
I was
charged to do some traffic control in my marked cruiser, for safety of the
public, while a VIP, high profile political figure, in a high-speed motorcade,
drove through the intersection I was controlling. I pulled my marked police
cruiser into the middle median, which is a bike path , for the bike commuters, to
be able to handle all of the traffic on both sides of the road as well as all
the crossing pedestrians and to include the bikers. So you can paint this
picture in your mind, this road and intersection I was on is a good size road.
To add to it, is usually very busy, however, it was still early and was slow,
not too slow but slow. The traffic and the commuters were not out in force yet.
Plenty of road space for all to share, However, I still needed to be there for
safe passage for the motorcade and the public at large.
So this
is what happened, as the public-at-large were being hindered by my presence and
traffic control, they were praising me and thanking me for a job well done. They
shouted glorious things to me, threw money at my feet. YEAH right!
I was
yelled at to get out of the way and told to go to a few places that in a better
way of saying it, was not part of my job. I even had several people on bicycles
having a real fit that I was in their lane and they had to pedal 2 extra feet
around my MARKED POLICE CRUISER DOING MY JOB FOR THEIR SAFETY!
So, How
did I handle it? Did I float on a cloud and quote parables from Yeshua
Ha-Mashiach? No, unfortunately. I fell into the argument and forced my
authority of being in Law Enforcement to get the point of what I was doing
across. Although, I did my job as a police officer, I realized the lesson I was
being taught. I remembered what I asked for before I left for in prayer.
So, will
try to relay what YHVH shared with me in words to you. First, he replayed
in my memory bank, almost like rewinding a movie, of what happened earlier.
Then He replayed it the way it should of Happened. The way that it would have been
acceptable to HIM and as a representative of HIM.

Corinthians 5:20
We are therefore
Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We
implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God.
What I
should have done was to take a moment for a very brief time out. A moment to
collect myself; A moment to gather what is happening and reflecting of what was
happening. A moment to look inward, A
moment to put on my armor of GOD and seize the moment for GOD. Allow him to work through me. I’ve train for
this. I study, I read and I pray. Now or then I should say, it was time to do
or take action.
The
Bible talks a lot about not allowing our emotions to justify our actions but to
use wisdom and discernment in everything. it states we are to be slow to anger
, swift to listen and slow to speak.
James
1:19
My dear brothers
and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to
speak and slow to become angry.
You see,
the only person we can control and have a true authority over is only our-selves.
Although we are put into different positions of authority it doesn't mean that
you or should say I, can control anyone but me. Everyone makes a choice to submit
or not, to the authority appointed over them. Sometimes this choice is verbal.
Most of the time it’s internal.
Stating
all of this, how should I have acted with these people who were treating me in
a pretty ugly way? YHVH showed me that I should have trusted him by his written
word and should have met all of this strife with kindness and compassion in
authority, knowing that these people, who were acting in such of a manner, were
displaying the Lack of the word of God in them, that they do not know. I should
have been a example to them, instead of allowing what they were trying to do,
to manipulate what I know, of being Jewish Believer in Jesus Christ, in my actions.
This would of enhanced my worldly authority of a police officer, into turning
on my spiritual authority too. Thus diffusing the situation in a greater way
and allowing the Ruach Ha-Kodesh (Holy Spirit) to work through me and in me;
while also being able to be a witness for the Father YHVH through Yeshua Ha-Mashiach
(Jesus Christ).
We are
not weak because we follow the written word of the bible, we are much greater
in authority and our positions in life. The only thing we are asked to do is
truly treat people in love and compassion and to try to understand them when
they don’t even understand themselves. This makes us greater the eyes of YHVH
and crucifying our flesh with Yeshua
Ha-Mashiach on the cross. Learning to handle each moment in our life Holy and
sanctified with the one who died for him. Remember it isn’t easy and it wont
be, that is not our promise. Our promise is that we will live better here on
earth in all situations and have eternal salvation. We may never be rich with
money and have all the things of the world. But those things will never satisfy
our Joy in our souls that we have being Children and one with the Creator of
the Universe. The wicked don’t have this and are always looking to find it.
They always find external happiness with godless activities but not an internal
joy of satisfaction that YHVH can give. This is
something hard for anyone to be able to explain; It is the satisfaction
you get when you pray. It is the satisfaction you get when your soul is
satisfied. Its not the empty feeling from immoral sexual contact and the yearn
for something more. Its not the empty feeling of being lost after a drug binge.
I pray
that all who read this is blessed by it. Your gain is also mine. I want you to
know and love GOD more than me and to bring to others to do the same. If anyone
