Soul Searching

Psalm 94:18-19

When I said ,"My foot is slipping," your love , O Lord, supported me. When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought joy to my soul.

Shalom and Good Morning:

Some thoughts for this morning. I know for me, whenever I have gone into place of question in my walk of life, either knowingly or even not sure of that path or thing is not of God and sinful, God still loves us. He shows us his love through His discipline.

The Love of God and His discipline is a very important part for us as believers of YHVH and His son Yeshua Hamoshiach ( Jesus Christ). Hebrews chapter 12 talks about this in a greater detail. It is this love and discipline that brings us to repent of these things to turn our hearts away of these things to not to want or desire to return to those things, whatever they are. Through this builds our relationship with YHVH our Heavenly Father.

Our desire to repent is not out of being beaten up, its our desire not wanting to walk down wrong paths anymore, not wanting to make wrong choices any longer, not wanting to make mistakes any longer, not wanting to hurt anyone to include ourselves and grieve GOD in Heaven any longer.  To want to and desire to  make a real change in our life .

God shows his love to us through these things and helps us along the way.  In this, if you surrender yourself to God and His discipline, He will show you very important details in your life. For example, how to be patient. in Patience, you learn how to not be angry and or be emotional and quick to acting upon these things that cause more problems and issues  the devil is hoping to cause.  In patience, you allow prayer and time for God to do His thing.

One thing I have always said, if we get out of the way of God and allow HiM to work in our lives, we cannot out do God. We cannot make things happen the way He can.Whatever they are.Then what happens, this thing of patience has grown in us and is called a "fruit of the spirit. "This is a quality of God that is directly related back to HIM and the image of HIM that we were made from and to be. This builds His righteousness in us. The bible says OUR righteousness is all but of filthy rags, but HIS righteousness is made in HIS image and is perfect. This is something that we can take with us from this life into the next.

In this brings Hope. Without hope all is lost. This hope is our motivation to everything in us. Without it, we give up. The sad thing is, many people do give up without any hope.They go to doctors, see counselors, get on many different types of medications, hoping to hope for a change in them. What many people don't understand is,  this lost sense of HOPE that grieves you inside, no one  else sees, the Lord sees it and understands it and also your soul is crying out for the Love and the Hope of GOD. That is what is being felt inside that most people cannot explain. Even people who call themsleves believers in Christ, many times do not understand this spiritual fact.

This Hope of God also brings change inside you and a new life in you . Its the THING no other religion or doctrine or medication is able to do or promise. That is how the bible is known to be the truth through and out of any anything else . Which our minds cannot understand. The bible tells us not to try to understand it just simply be childlike and live by it. This brings relief and joy to our soul. Then we start to know who God is and how much He really loves us. So much so that He loves us more then we love ourself. We then see the Love God gave us through the giving of His son Yeshua Hamoshiach ( Jesus Christ ) for our redemption. Amen!

The Absence Of GOD, what it is!

Matthew 10:28Amplified Bible (AMP)

28 Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; but rather be afraid of Him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

Good Morning and Shalom:

I wanted to share some of my thoughts with you. The other day after working out , I went into the sauna to unwind for little while. As I was sitting there,  I could feel the very hot air around me. This is an uncomfortable feeling for a little while as your body adjusts to it. Its a little hard to breath as well.

I was thinking about how the hot air that had surrounded me was was uncomfortable as sweating and allowing my muscles to unwind. There are signs posted in there with warnings stating to not to be in there for too long. So what was coming to mind were biblical descriptions of Hell.

That the fire is everlasting. The pain of the fire will never cease. It is a place where the worm never dies. It is a place of being eternally separate from God and His Presence. A place of darkness and gnashing of teeth.  The descriptions of Hell are many in the bible.

As I was sitting there, thanking God, that even though I have placed myself in this sauna for a short amount of time and  I am able to walk out of the sauna at will, how scary would it be in a place of no return, with those descriptions.

The pain of a fire heat consuming your body eternally and not being able to breath in eternal heat and pain, is a horrible thought. A place of no hope and unquenchable thirst.

For all of us in our existence fire, is very painful to get burned. Our body rejects it immediately and searches without thought for relief. Can you imagine that type of pain without relief.

I was thankful that I was able to leave the sauna after a few minutes. To feel the fresh air and the coolness of it. I was thankful To GOD that  I am not in that place nor that I would want to go that place. I was thankful  that  I  haven't felt that type of pain or am I willing to negotiate my life existence in the here and now for that in the eternal.

Its very interesting to look up the word HELL in the bible. There are many references to it. In the King James bible, there are 54 references to it alone. There are many descriptions of it. That is not even mention all the translation from the Hebrew and the Greek.

Vines dictionary defines it by the following:

Hell:

represents the Hebrew Ge-Hinnom (the valley of Tophet) and a corresponding Aramaic word; it is found twelve times in the NT, eleven of which are in the Synoptists, in every instance as uttered by the Lord Himself. He who says to his brother, Thou fool (see under FOOL), will be in danger of "the hell of fire," Mat 5:22; it is better to pluck out (a metaphorical description of irrevocable law) an eye that causes its possessor to stumble, than that his "whole body be cast into hell," Mat 5:29; similarly with the hand, Mat 5:30; in Mat 18:8, 9, the admonitions are repeated, with an additional mention of the foot; here, too, the warning concerns the person himself (for which obviously the "body" stands in chapt. 5); in ver. 8, "the eternal fire" is mentioned as the doom, the character of the region standing for the region itself, the two being combined in the phrase "the hell of fire," ver. 9. To the passage in Matt. 18, that in Mar 9:43-47, is parallel; here to the word "hell" are applied the extended descriptions "the unquenchable fire" and "where their worm dieth not and the fire is not quenched." 

That God, "after He hath killed, hath power to cast into hell," is assigned as a reason why He should be feared with the fear that keeps from evil doing, Luk 12:5; the parallel passage to this in Mat 10:28 declares, not the casting in, but the doom which follows, namely, the destruction (not the loss of being, but of well-being) of "both soul and body."

In Matt. 23 the Lord denounces the scribes and Pharisees, who in proselytizing a person "make him two-fold more a son of hell" than themselves (Mat 23:15), the phrase here being expressive of moral characteristics, and declares the impossibility of their escaping "the judgment of hell," Mat 23:33. In Jam 3:6 "hell" is described as the source of the evil done by misuse of the tongue; here the word stands for the powers of darkness, whose characteristics and destiny are those of "hell."

For terms descriptive of "hell," see e.g., Mat 13:42; 25:46; Phl 3:19; 2Th 1:9; Hbr 10:39; 2Pe 2:17; Jud 1:13; Rev 2:11; 19:20; 20:6, 10, 14; 21:8.

Notes:

(1) For the rendering "hell" as a translation of hades, corresponding to Sheol, wrongly rendered "the grave" and "hell," see HADES.

(2) The verb tartaroo, translated "cast down to hell" in 2Pe 2:4, signifies to consign to Tartarus, which is neither Sheol nor Hades nor Hell, but the place where those angels whose special sin is referred to in that passage are confined "to be reserved unto judgment;" the region is described as "pits of darkness," RV.

What the Lord has shown me about Hell and going there  or not,  in simple terms was this; That God created everything to work in certain way . If we live our life according to HIS biblical word in its simple truths then it works out well with us. Like a well oiled machine going along his plan and course. However, if we CHOOSE to go against those things that God had laid out then we are choosing not to be with GOD.  So if if we choose this path against GOD , then all the elements of GOD that allow us life and breath and harmony with GOD is removed from us eternally. So in the eternal realm those things are removed and wont allow us HIS Heavenly realm. In turn is the opposite that has to be everything outside of it , that cause pain and suffering, no hope and no return from it. I picture it like a chemistry set. If you use certain elements and mix them you get one outcome and if you mix certain other  elements you get another outcome. For example H2O mixed you get water.

So in simple terms our life is meant to be made with GOD here and now into eternity. However we must know who God is and how to live our life according to His word. Everyone is given a measure of responsibility to this. 

We are given truths to living without thought. We need air to breath, we need food to sustain ourselves and the list goes on. The question is how do we go about these simple things when everything seems so complicated. The Bible is the Gods truth given to us . In there we will find its truths in simple terms. It is the most popular book of all time and talked about of all time.

The Last Straw

Good Morning and Shalom:

Psalm 103 is one of the greatest psalms to read and understand about the Lord and who He is. This psalm Lays out the entire foundation of What the Lord expects and also gives to us . To be able to understand the Lord , this psalm describes His precepts upon precepts to us as people on the earth. We are not expected to understand all that is there but know what is expected of us and how He is.

This morning I woke up out of a very strange dream. It was something that I would describe to be aweful yet , in this dream it seemed like I was someone who was watching as to what is going on or is about to happen and deeply saddened the Lord .

In this dream , I saw much anarchy and protests over many issues and Human rights for equality, especially for the LBGTQ community. That what was once was Good is being called bad and once was called bad being called good. That much of the people were being attacked . Especially those who stood for biblical and Godly values were under great attack.  Later in this dream went into a room where many of the protesters who were gathered for equal rights were also gathered to have the right to have children. However , these children weren't birthed properly between men and woman. They were being harvested and put together  genetically from all sorts of of genes and DNA and chromosomes. These children contained Life that God only allows  to come forth however , what these babies were and looked like were disfigured and grotesque.  Its hard to even describe the shapes of these children. In this dream it seemed like it was extremely sad that these children werre being composed of all sorts of DNA and grown and or harvested so that this community called the LBGTQ would be able to further its premise of Human rights and equality. Then I woke up out ofthe dream. 

As I woke up out of this dream, I heard and understood very clearly that this is the Last Straw from Gods perspective. That God, who is just in all His ways,  is deeply grieved by this. He would allow these things to go on no more. 

In my understanding from a biblical point that no society and or race of people has ever been able to survive when they have come to a point in Gods threshold. God has wipped them out and wouldn't allow these things to continue when man has set his way for what is evil and wicked. These things that are coming forth are evil and wicked, sinful and unGodly. 

When I arose from this dream and went into prayer , I understand that when I see these things, I am tasked to pray for the lost souls , to ask for God's grace and mercy. God wants all of us to pray as well. He is looking for our communion with Him. However, He is also letting us know we have reached His theshold and we also need to be ready and get right with Him. Psalm 103 is just that . Its instruction to get right with GOD and to repent and turn away of evil and wicked things in our hearts , minds and souls. To get your heart and mind ready, clear and clean with Him.

Lastly, we should not be just watching for a rapture to try to get right with GOD we need to be ready daily. No one knows the day or the hour when your soul will be required to give an acounting for in the rapture or the end of  each individual's time here on earth.

Please know God Loves you and wants no one to perish. Its past the time to wallow in the mud of sin and turn your hearts to God through the atonement of Jesus Christ! Amen!

Choices we make put simply

Pro 21:3

To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.

 Good Morning And Shalom:

 Some thoughts for today . Each day we start we have a choice of how we will be throughout our day. Each day brings us old and new challenges throughout the day. We each have an individual choice mixed with responsibility and measure of how each of us will choose our path in our day.

Many will choose many different options. Some will will choose to smoke or drink alcohol. Some will choose to be late to work or call in sick. Some will steal time from their employer. Some will think of different ways to get what they want.

 But the bible makes it easy and simple. To choose Justice and judgement  instead of sacrifice. It easy . Just choose what is right and acceptable in the Lord so sacrifice for those things that are injustice and poor judgment are not needed.

 The bible states  living in the fruit of the spirit opposes  those things of the flesh. The things of the flesh leads to death and destruction and will not inhereant the kingdom of Heaven . However living in the fruit of the spirit, there is no end and no limit too.

Self or God ?

Proverbs 3:3-4

Let Love (1st Corinthians 13) and Faithfulness (Hebrews 11) never leave you. Bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.Then you will win favor and good name in the sight of God and man.

Good Morning and Shalom:

Have you ever stop to really read the Proverbs? Ever really examine them? We read many passages in the bible and all the stories, however, the proverbs are like  gold and silver of wealth to us spiritually. 

A friend of mine, Joeseph , lives in Texas now, taught me a very long time ago, to read a proverb a day. Although we should read  the bible in entirety, but a proverb a day is usually like that extra vitamin needed for our spiritual instruction. I have always remembered that and have continued to do it for years.

What is the most interesting fact of the proverbs, is that all of God's intructions  and wisdoms in all the books of the bible are either quoted from the proverbs and or used in some way, shape or form from, this book.

This morning today is February 3rd, 2017, and I woke up to read and pray. So today part of my reading is Proverbs 3. 

This chapter alone brings so much wisdom and knowledge its hard to even write a short blog about it. The verse I picked today is the one seen above. 

In these verses God gives us a veiw and instruction of how to win HIS favor and a Good name in HIS sight and while we do that, it also brings us the same with man.

But what is this LOVE and FAITHFULNESS that is spoken here?It says to take these two things and bind them around your neck and write them on your heart. What is it and how do you do such a thing?

Lets examine binding something around your neck and writing them on your heart first before we go further. 

In life today we see all kinds of things around our necks. We see scarves, necklaces, tattoos, chains, and lanyards etc... and the like.  Why do we do these things to our necks? In todays society we are obviously saying to ourselves and others this is what we want to look like , how we feel and I am displaying these things in this way today so I can look good, feel better and this is who I am here, now  and for today.

A scarf around your neck can keep you warm in the winter or covered up from something you dont want to display. A chain or necklace can be displayed and look good but give off a sense of feeling and taste of who you are and what you like and what you are like. A tattoo gives off many things and shows many pictures. Ive seen names tattooed on the neck mostly however I have also seen many pictures tattooed that gives off some type of matter of fact picture that captures the eyes of a person, usually shocks you and gives off a feeling of warning in some way.

So we see that something around the neck makes a statement , and gives us a sign,  a warning sometimes, or can bring us in and entice us. But for the most part it is making sometype of statment to us, on our inside, how we feel and how do we want to make others feel. 

So what about the writing on the tablet of your heart that is also stated. This is interesting because, no one can see what is on your heart. What is on your heart, is inside you and the only way something inside you can be seen, must be displayed in some way.  So how do we do this? How do we write these things and write them on your heart? Well lets look on how we see things of today and society do it already. We see posters , pictures , movies, books , radio shows, videos , shirts ,  demonstrations in todays society all the time. People are standing up for many things today. People have stood up for the election of President Obama, President Trump, protests for Black lives and immigrants. We see all kinds of things in todays society that is shaking up everything in greater levels and is effecting each one us today some how and some way.

How does these things do such things? They are able too becuase in some way your heart is involved. Your heart is feeling sometype of pain , anger, hurt, bitter, gladness , joy, etc., to be able to allow such things affect you. You buy shirts , you read the articles and listen to the programs and videos. You encompass yourself in and around these things all the time and the are being allowed to be written on your heart which effects you from the inside . But nothing on the inside can be seen unless you allow it to be displayed. 

So we as a people write these influences of todays society on our hearts in the bus loads. Many disturbing things are happening today. We are being shocked in alarming numbers , just when we think we cannot be shocked any further. We are seeing Hate being regarded as good things. We are seeing Good and Godly biblical teachings being regarded as hate. We are seeing what is called homosexuality and perveted immoral lifetsyles being called love and what what is defined under God's biblical veiw of what love and marriage is being called old school or demoralizing to women.

So lets look at what Love is really defined biblically. In 1st Corinthians chapter 13 Love is truly defined here. It is called the love chapter. Its been used in movies , and probably quoted in many failed marriages. But what is it really? Is it a feeling or really a standard to live by? 

Love is quoted as being pateint and kind, without envy, doesn't boast, its not rude, proud, nor self seeking. Doesnt delight in evil, rejoices with truth. It protects, trusts, always hopes and perserveres and most importantly, never fails. 

Hmm, interesting, for so many calling for love to win out in todays society it doesn't meet this standard of definition.  But God has defined His love for us so we can understand what pure Love is and what to strive for. What we can set our sights on . What the Goal of love is. How to push foward in its likeness. We are not seeing that in todays soceity. We are not seeing that in in our Government, or these so called movements that states they are about LOVE. Many Church buildings and Pastors are not standing firm to this either. They are being swayed by todays society and compromise this true meaning of Love. God defines Love also to not delight in evil. How does GOD define evil? Church leaders are tiptoeing around this subject and allowing evil into their manifesto. Evil is what is not of God. It is that simple. One has to read the bible in simple terms to understand these things. The true LOVE of GOD is being changed and rededfined by man. However , GOD has not changed. 

You see in this definition of Love it is built of the Characteristics of what is the fruit of the spirit is.  The fruit of the spirit is defined in Galations Chapter 5. Fruit of the spirit states that their is no limit to it, that you can have this in so much abundance, there is no limit or no end to it in GODS eyes or understanding. It produces a harvest of so much greater things, GOD approves of it in the here and now and also translates to us eternally. 

Lastly, the scripture talks about faithfulness. What is it? Its defined in Hebrews Chapter 11 as being sure of what is hoped for and being certain of what we do not see. Without faith , it is impossible to please God. Anyone who comes to GOD must beleive that GOD exists and Gods rewards those who earnestly seek him.

In todays society we see all kinds of faith in something , we see faith in our jobs, our bills , our cars , our bank accounts , our savings, our schooling, our ideas, our workout routines, our diets and the list can go on and on?

What happens to you when these things fail? When your car doesnt start, or you have been given bad news that you need surgery? What happens to you when your bank account has been hacked and your money has been stolen by a forged credit card and you cant pay your bills? 

We know one specific detail, that if we do certain things traditionally and or religously then we have built ourselves up on those things. Whatever those things are we hope in them, in faith, that they will never fail us. If they do fail us, we have built up a plan B for it so we can continue on in the like manner. What happens then, if all the plans we have built ourselves up on are knocked down by one simple thing ? Ususally somthing like Cancer can change us immediatley. Everything we have just now built ourselves on is redirected to handle something like Cancer or HIV. All the education , money, and workout cannot change soemthing like that. No protest or government regulation can make these things go away. 

What is your faith in today? Is it in soemthing that won't be with you eternally? You see God has given us the Keys to success eternally. However, its built up simply. We are to simply to Love and seek it in GODLY terms in FAITH that GOD exists and not mans. To stand on this GODLY LOVE and GODLY FAITH and BIND them around our necks as stated. Display them always in every circumstance and standing firm of these things. Love is not a feeling but a stance. A position. Having FAITH in GOD , in these things , even if we dont see them but knowing HE is there and GOD will reward us for it. Standing firm to GODs understanding of these things,  in HIS terms and not man's. this will produce the fruit of the HOLLY SPIRIT and in the end we will find favor with GOD and man. The only protest we will stand firm in , is not changing what we believe in in our hearts and actions and never compromising those things. As a follower of Christ , if you think this has to do with yelling and shouting , you need to read your bible again. If you think that a politician or a leader has all the right answers , you need to read your bible again. If your looking to be raptured without putting in the work, I'm sure you will be left behind. 

I am in constant evaluation of these things in my life. We are given promises, yes, but work on our part must be put forth for these things to manifest in us and through us. To follow Christ is not part time , it is a way of life, and life is not easy. Its not a bowl of cherries. 

If man is always willing to pay more for purity of Gold and silver . Pure  of honey, water, extracts, virgin olive oil, silk, diamonds, breeds of animals, oxygen, power etc., How much more do we as people need to work for our purity in Gods sight. Its simple isnt it to follow Christ? To follow his path? Yes it is , but it is hard . Not to do drugs or get drunk . To steal or lie. Its hard to keep to our word now a days . To say something and mean it when the scriptures states let your yes be yes and your no be no. Its hard to abstain from sexual impurities . Lusts of the eyes, movies  with nudity and profane language. Books that put forth ungodly images in our minds.

Yes Christ Paid for our sins. That doesnot give us a ticket to continue to sin over and over again willingly, knowingly and without our self examination before a pure and just GOD. So God makes his intruction simple . To Bind HIS LOVE and HIS FAITH around your neck and write it on your heart moment byt moment and YOU will find favor in GOD and in man. How do you do that? You do it by surrounding yourself in GOD's word and prayer. Engulfing yourself in it so it gaurds your heart and your mind. That your display will be of these things of God and not of man. Self examining yourself in all you do, read, see, say and display to God and in God. Amen!
