Just wanted to
share some thoughts with you that I have recently with others.
Ephesians
6:10-13 (AMP)
In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be
empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that
strength which His boundless might provides]. Put on God’s whole armor [the armor of a
heavy-armed soldier which God supplies], that you may be able successfully to
stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the
devil.For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with
physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against
[the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against
the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere.Therefore
put on God’s complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand
your ground on the evil day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis
demands], to stand [firmly in your place].
If you profess
your redemption and salvation in Yeshua Hamoshiach ( Jesus Christ) then you are
a soldier in the spiritual realm and in the middle of the Battle.
Every soldier has to take time to know where their position and objective are. While we are in battle, we cannot get complacent of the battle at the same
time. We cannot forget, if there is moment of quiet in the battle, not to let
a part of our body from behind our cover and concealment protecting us,
exposing to the sights of the enemy.
When I would go to
qualify for my firearms, on a regular basis, we would have to hide behind
cover, reload while keeping our eyes on the threat never letting our awareness
down. This is the same for us in the spiritual realm, that manifests physically
in our daily lives. We need to stay in the spiritual cover of God our Father to remain under HIS safety and protection.
Psalm 91 Amplified Bible (AMP)
He who [a]dwells
in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under
the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand].I will say of the
Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and
in Him I [confidently] trust! For [then] He will
deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. [Then]
He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings shall you trust and
find refuge; His truth and His faithfulness are a shield and a buckler.
Everyday we leave
our homes to go to work, school etc. we are bombarded with wicked things that
are trying penetrate our hearts , minds and souls. So much so, that society has
deemed these things ok and normal. Many churches
have compromised these things, even though scriptures are very
clear about them. An example is the homosexual agenda
and marriage. The scriptures are clear in the Holy Bible of those who
Follow the GOD of Israel (YHVH), those who placed their salvation in the
redemption of Yeshua Hamoshiach ( Jesus Christ).
Everyday, many images and thoughts come before us with the lusts and desires of the world. Many of those
things are given the able to be very tempting through our senses. The devil doesn't
have cookies. Making it seem to be better or not really a problem spiritually
at the current moment.
I have learned ,
the hard way, that everything that we do has a cause and effect. We reap what
we sow. If we reap spiritual wickedness then the harvest will be such . The
same goes for a Holy and Sanctified life.
As a man, many
things can get in the way of remembering the differences between being Holy
and being Selfish and prideful.
Here is a Spiritual tip for
the combat spiritual soilder in Yeshua Hamoshiach (Jesus Christ ) . I deal with this in prayer. It has been helpful for me and I
have shared it with others. You have heard prayer changes things , well it does.
When certain
temptations enter my thoughts and try to penetrate my Heart. I will think of
different scriptures that will refocus my attention to matters of our Heavenly
Father YHVH. Also, When Im in my secret place of the The Most High, in prayer,
I will take time time to be quiet and meditate and picture in my mind being in
Heaven with Yeshua Hamoshiach. I will empty my thoughts of the day and picture
some of those scenes of being in Heaven. Meditate on scriptures and being still
to hear that still small voice of YHVH.
Our prayer life is very important to us and to God. He wants us to come to him. He wants to share with him. He wants to Share with us. In doing so , He will gives us warning, chastisement and directions. He will show us things and people to pray for. You may not be aware of who is praying to for who, but He knows and will direct us. Who cannot use a righteous prayer and ask GOD for help and intercede for us?
I have found in
doing some of these small things have strengthened and sharpened me spiritually
and physically for the battle that threatens me daily.
We are charged
to encourage and strengthen each other both spiritually and
physically. The battle will rage on and we need to be able sharpen each other
as iron sharpens iron. In the same way a sharp shooter will continue to
challenge himself in practice to master his skill, GOD himself charges us to
master sin. We cannot defeat sin, Jesus Has done that, however , we are given
the ability to chose and overcome it through Jesus Christ and his redemtion or
choose to give into the temptations of sin. With Gods strength and direction, our weakness to sin no longer becomes a
GOD tells us to
choose his rightouness and not the sin. So we can remain blameless in his sight
as we become new in Christ daily. The battle rages on daily , we must continue
to battle in the strength that GOD gives us.
Psalm 18:28-29
For You cause my
lamp to be lighted and to shine; the Lord my God illumines my darkness. For
by You I can run through a troop, and by my God I can leap over a wall.
Genesis 4:7 AMP
If you do well,
will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin crouches at your door;
its desire is for you, but you must master it.
I pray that you
know Yeshua Ha-Moshiach for yourselves and accept him into you life . Allow him
